March is a time to celebrate women’s power, resilience and brilliance worldwide. International Women’s Day, 8 March, is a day on which to reflect on our achievements and an invitation to fully embrace and celebrate ourselves. As women entrepreneurs, we understand that strength is not just about authority but also about connection, empathy and the ability to inspire meaningful change. True (self)leadership comes from integrating all parts of ourselves – our resilience, intuition, creativity and compassion – into our businesses and environments. A key step in this journey is embodying soft power – the feminine and balanced way of leading based on trust, self-acceptance and alignment – which allows us to lead with strength and without force. Soft power helps us find a different kind of confidence, not from a place of force or proving ourselves, but from staying true to our values, respecting our boundaries and trusting that we will be okay no matter what. We step into our power when we honour every part of ourselves, including our voices and boundaries, and lead from a place of inner trust. When we embody our power, there is nothing to prove – we can show up fully as ourselves. This confidence results from ultimate self-love and self-care, transforming how we lead and connect with ourselves and others. We extend that acceptance to our clients and business relationships by embracing all parts of ourselves. In this month’s event, Jacinta Noonan will show us how to use this connection with ourselves in our dealings with our clients. In ‘Understanding Neurodiverse Clients for Small Business Success’, we will learn how to modify or adjust our communication when working with neurodiverse clients, particularly those with ADHD and Autistic traits. This one-hour session will provide strategies to reduce misunderstandings, avoid project delays and create seamless, mutually rewarding partnerships. As we celebrate International Women’s Day, let’s take a moment to acknowledge our journeys and honour the women who inspire us. When women support women, we all rise.
