It’s the time of the year again where many international families leave for greener pastures.
Some deliberately choose not to say goodbye because it is emotionally overwhelming, unaware that not having a proper closure will make a new beginning in a new place much harder.
- Everyone has his or her very own way to say goodbye and every family member should get the opportunity do it his/her own way.
If you are the one staying behind: seeing friends leave is as painful as leaving!
- How can we cope with this?
- How can we make sure to have a healthy “closure” that will allow us to fully embrace the next phase in our life?
In this “Discussion Group session” we will talk about our experience, our fears and about what experts recommend doing in order to make transition as smooth as possible for leavers and stayers.
Come and join us to share your thoughts and experience and let’s make this whole “saying goodbye” this year a bit less painful so that we all can enjoy our summer! 😉
