Charlene LambertWe are all currently finding ourselves in the midst of an extremely challenging global health crisis, where life as we knew it has dramatically changed.

With schools and businesses shuttered, travel halted, meetings cancelled, and obliged to stay at home, we may all wonder what in the world has suddenly happened to us. As SMEs and sole traders, we are used to working on our own, but on top of all of the other challenges created by the current situation, business might also have dried up. Unable to meet with clients face-to-face, and potentially with no contracts, we may be wondering what to do next.

Thanks to the World Wide Web, we are able to connect with friends, family, and business contacts through any number of video conferencing technologies, and WBII is taking full advantage of this to stay in touch with our community and support you through this challenging period. The WISE Newsletter is being sent out a few weeks early to highlight our upcoming free seminars, and to invite you to join in the discussions. More information about these sessions, starting this Thursday, is available on our website and in this newsletter.

We need innovative women entrepreneurs to get us through this period, and hopefully we will come out being more resourceful than when we started. In the meantime, please join our discussions, and let’s share ideas and suggestions as to how to move forward.

Take care and talk soon!
