On 27th November 2016, WBII members met on another networking event and turned it into a quite special one. This time there was no guest speaker, since WBII members organised a different but quite informative evening.

Mastermind Groups

During the second part of our event, we had the chance to hear from Teresa Moynihan and Dymphna Elsink all the useful information about Mastermind Groups. They gave us tips on how to structure our Mastermind Group and how to connect, share and inspire through this. Dymphna stressed out the importance of building a group whose members share common business interests, they are committed, they respect the rules of confidentiality and they are willing to give and receive with the other members.

But most important, as Teresa said, is the fact that the expectations within the members must be met so that there is no conflict or disappointment. What do you hope to get out of a group like that? Are you willing to share? Is this group the right fit? Are you willing to give and receive honest advice and ideas, that will help you eventually boost your business?

Teresa and Dymphna gave a very well-organised and informative presentation and they also asked from members that they are already in some mastermind groups to share their experience so far. New members had the opportunity to voice out their questions and their concerns, and that proved our networking event a very productive one.

Women’s Economic Forum

At the first part of the meeting, Sukai Ceesay the founder of Global Village Children and the ALL Ladies League chapter EU, talked to us about a special opportunity to participate in a two-days Event of the Women’s Economic Forum. This platform for all entrepreneurs is promising to take you to the next level due to the huge amount of workshops/sessions that you can participate in there. Sukai is also the chief coordinator and if you want to participate in WEF – EU 2017 in January in The Hague, please write with your interest and profile here.

Thank you, Sukai, Dymphna and Teresa, for all the tips you shared with us this evening!

It was an evening full of useful business advice, networking, photos, new faces, drinks and laughs.

Until next WBII meeting, have a beautiful and productive month!
