On 24 September 2026 we had a wonderful and engaging evening with our speaker, Vinita Salomé, who shared her inspiring photography journey and introduced us to powerful ways to enhance our business presence through imagery.
Vinita highlighted the common issue of information overload from traditional presentations, opting instead for an interactive session focused on practical application. She encouraged us to actively create images throughout the evening, ensuring we left with a phone full of images and a mind full of ideas. She started by asking us all to add a new album to our pictures app and encouraged us to add images to it which we could use for our businesses – this evening and moving forward.
Here’s a recap of the key actions and tasks from our session:
- Visualisation Exercise: Vinita guided us to reflect on our business’s beginnings and current status, noting our feelings.
- Sharing & Image Foundation: Following the visualisation, she encouraged us to share our insights, emphasising that these feelings should be used as a foundation for creating business images.
- Group Work & Image Creation: We were then divided into four groups, each focusing on a specific business pillar for image creation. Taking inspiration from the environment around us, we were encouraged to capture images of our businesses. Each group was guided by a member of the team that Vinita collaborates with:
- Lisa (Architect): Focused on our physical work environment (studio, desk, etc.).
- Cigdem (Branding): Explored and photographed our brand colours.
- Moran (SEO/Behind the Scenes): Documented our work processes and what happens behind the scenes. Captured the elements of what our everyday work looks like.
- Sarai (Social Media/Visibility): Self-portraits and showing up for your business.
Our goal was to build an ‘album’ of business images which Vinita encouraged us to continue to add to so that they would be ready for when we needed them.
