We ask our members share a few thoughts: to introduce themselves to fellow members, and those who are interested in our community.
In this instalment, we interview Dymphna Elsink of Dymphna Business Assistance.
Tell us about your business:
A Personal Assistant organises projects, accomplishes tasks and can fulfill some obligations that you cannot seem to find the time or the drive for: Dymphna’s helping hand will pick up tasks that have been put off for too long.
The advantage of outsourcing is that you can totally focus on your core business, with the even bigger advantage of being more successful.
What 5 words would you choose to describe your business:
Trustworthy, Hands on, Caring, Critical thinker, Problem Solver
What are your most popular products or services?
Back office tasks, being a helping hand in organising events or the daily/weekly routine of somebody’s business, guarding processes and procedures, assisting in putting the best procedures in place, and many more tasks that develop as I work together with the client.
What do you like best about owning a business?
I love the feeling that I am free. Of course I am not free as I have obligations to my clients, however I do have the flexibility to control my work schedule, the kind of work I do and the clients I work for.
Getting the right clients is such a gift, and if I can be of help which stimulates the client in such a way that they actually earn more money and save time, then that is the biggest compliment I can get.
What makes your products/services special?
I would like to emphasise the word Personal in Personal Assistance. I like to become personal with people, this is my strength.
When I work for you, I am your Personal Assistant.
Personal means that we trust each other, that we are loyal to each other, that we work together to make your business successful, and that I assist you where you need me and when you need me.
What place inspires you and why?
Nature inspires me. I love living in The Hague as we have the beach so near. It relaxes me to walk through the Dunes, my problem is that I should do that much more often!
