We ask our members to share a few thoughts: to introduce themselves to fellow members, and those who are interested in our community.

In this instalment, we interview Sinziana Ionescu of Sinziana Ionescu Coaching

Tell us about your business:
I am a bilingual embodiment and relationship coach, providing 1-on-1 fully customized coaching journeys to women. I help them transform the way they see their relationships so they can meaningfully connect with themselves and others.

What 5 words would you choose to describe your business?
Helping women transform their relationships

What or who inspired you to start your business?
When I was a little girl, I would sit by my grandma’s side while she was sewing tailor-made clothes for her community of women. I always admired her power to create with her talent and gifts, while helping women feel empowered, providing them the chance to wear unique dresses. Back in the communist time, this was extremely important and rare for women. My grandmother is a continuous source of inspiration for me and she inspired me to start my business.

What makes your products/services special?
I am a globally certified bilingual coach, through an ICF-accredited certification. It took me 9 months and 126 coaching hours to graduate this programme and start my own business. I am also certified in visualization exercises, breathwork and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). Hence, my coaching programme is very different as I help women get out of their mind and connect with their wisdom and intuition. During my coaching sessions, it is not all about the mindset. We are more than our mind.
We should no longer expect from women to only focus on mindset as being the most essential part of reaching goals. We no longer can ignore the ways that repressed emotions, energy and trauma are stored within the body. Hence, tools like EFT, breathwork and visualization exercises help us accelerate the coaching journey and reach easier our own answers and subconscious minds.
Another important element of my coaching sessions is represented by the homework I give to my clients. I believe that awareness without implementation is entertainment. After each coaching session, I provide customized homework through which women can implement the awareness and discoveries from our sessions. In this way, after couple of months of coaching, each woman can measure and track her progress.

What motivates you on a daily basis?
I find my motivation in nature, my family, friends and travels. Every time when I hike and I reach the peak, I feel small and humble and I connect to my purpose and divinity.
Every time when I kiss my partner I feel worthy of receiving love.
Every time when I get lost in many hours of deep conversations with my friends I feel inspired and motivated.

What advice would you give women who are starting a business?
Have a clear long-term vision. Be intentional in your actions. Believe in yourself.
I believe that having clear intentions of what she wants to achieve and why she is doing it will get her closer to her vision. I keep going back to my long-term vision whenever I am in doubt or I feel confused. Afterwards, I recalibrate and take intentional decisions that will get me closer to my vision.
I also believe that a woman who is starting a business needs to strongly believe in herself. My belief in my work, products and myself has been challenged many times during the first years of my business and it saved me every time.

What is your favourite business book?
The Conquer Kit by Natalie MacNeil – A Creative Business Planner for Women Entrepreneurs. Natalie is my own coaching mentor and her book has helped me set up my own business in a feminine and aligned way.
Another book that I believe all women entrepreneurs should read is Untamed by Glennon Doyle. I believe that the entrepreneurial journey is an opportunity to rediscover ourselves as women. The moment when we stop pleasing others and start living from our truth and wisdom is the moment our business will flourish and thrive. This book has truly helped me with that.

What is your motto or theme song?
“The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives” – Esther Perel

How do you relax?
I relax by walking my dog in the nearby forest. By doing so, I disconnect from devices and I mindfully connect with nature and myself.
I also relax by listening to music and dancing intuitively. This is my go to practice whenever I need to get out of my headspace and reconnect with my body.
Playing also relaxes me. I love playing board games with my partner, friends and family or just driving to the nearby arcade room and playing old school air hockey.

What are your future plans?
As a volunteer in the WBII community, I plan to contribute to this beautiful community and organize more events and diverse activities that will connect us further. Also, I plan to bring other mission-aligned women in this community, so they can connect with us too and receive their needed support.
For my business, I have big plans. One of my biggest dreams is to combine my passion and expertise in events with my purpose in coaching and open an NGO in Romania, the country where I am originally from. In this place, I wish to provide access to unprivileged families from Romania to personal development and interhuman connection.
There are so many families in Romania that contain adults that are driven by survival, fear and stress and don’t know how to truly connect with their kids and romantic partners. I wish to be able to give them the chance to come for free in a retreat where they learn how to transform their relationships and to fully connect with one another. I also wish that through this meaningful work I will have the opportunity to give back to the country that hosted me for my first 19 years of life.

Are you running any offers or promotions that you would like us to mention?
I am currently developing a transformational 1-on-1 coaching journey of 6 months and I provide 20% discount to all WBII members. Apply for this coaching package here.

Thank you, Sinziana!
