“i am not a tourist” Expat Fair will attract thousands of expats
Expatica’s annual Expat Fair offers free resources, information, networking opportunities and entertainment to internationals living in the Netherlands.
AMSTERDAM – Sunday, 23 October 2011, at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. Expatica will host a one-day fair for internationals to get information, meet with expat-oriented service providers and network with thousands of like-minded internationals.
Over 80 companies will be available to offer advice for expats still finding their way in the Netherlands, covering topics as diverse as employment, housing, relocation, taxes and banking. In addition, approximately 35 groups, clubs, schools and universities will be present. Visitors can attend informative presentations on the 30 percent tax ruling, job hunting, mortgages, and how to succeed abroad.
“‘i am not a tourist’ 2011 will offer invaluable resources for newcomers, as well as entertainment and a wealth of information on a range of cultural pursuits for those who have already settled in,” says Event Manager Daniëlle de Groot. “In this respect, ‘i am not a tourist’ 2011 is a fair for beginners and experienced internationals alike.”
This year’s fair will host a mini SpeedDate, live music, a Boom Chicago show, and presentations on stress resilience, starting a business and a range of other topics. There will also be workshops on improv comedy, salsa, writing, chocolate making and genever tasting. And don’t hesitate to bring the family along, as we have a dedicated kid’s corner, managed by GlobalParentz!
